Girish and The Chronicles have confirmed two shows in Nepal, this coming July, with a possible third performance.
The band is scheduled to fly on the 4th of July from Bengaluru to Kathmandu, where they will halt for a day. They will perform at Lord of The Drinks (LOD), in Thamel, on the 6th of July, followed by a trip to Pokhara, to perform at AURA bar and lounge, on the 7th. The organisers are in talks with the band for a possible third performance, but the announcements will be made only after a final confirmation.
Girish notes that he is visiting the place after more than 10 years. “I used to live in Kathmandu and perform at some of the venues out there during the years 2008 and 2009, where I began my real journey as a musician. Thamel used to be a Rock ‘n Roll paradise with every venue hosting awesome bands and a crazy crowd all over the place. Such beautiful memories I have! I’m really excited to visit the place with GATC this time. We often receive messages from fans out there, appreciating our music and asking us, as to when we would visit the place. I guess it’s finally happening!“, said the frontman.

The band will be performing their singles and songs from their first album, including their latest single, “Rock the Highway”. They are also known to belt out some classics of the ‘70s and ‘80s era, which might be in the list. It certainly looks like GATC fans in Nepal are in for a rock ‘n roll ride!
